Athletic Trainer
David holds a Bachelor of Science in athletic training from SUNY Stony Brook University and a Master of Science in kinesiology from Lamar University in Texas.
As a former athlete and now a clinical athletic trainer, David has a special interest in sports medicine and a firm grasp of the process of returning to play after an injury. He served as assistant athletic trainer with three different Division I college athletics programs prior to joining Riverside Health System: Stony Brook, Lamar and Delaware State universities. At Delaware State, he also took on the role of acting head athletic trainer for three months.
David cares for all of his patients the way he would want to be treated himself. He offers empathy and compassion while taking the time to understand each patient’s unique circumstances and challenges.
David lives in Williamsburg. His favorite free-time activities include hiking, camping and golf.
