Athletic Trainer
Megan earned a Bachelor of Science in athletic training from Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts and a Master of Education in kinesiology for individuals with disabilities from the University of Virginia.
A certified athletic trainer, Megan has a special interest in working with active-duty and retired military patients and also has experience treating high school and college athletes and individuals on the autism spectrum.
Megan is passionate about guiding her patients back to the activities that they love. She treats each patient as a whole human being, not simply as an injury, and is committed to exploring new and different ways to help with healing and rehabilitation.
Growing up in a military family, Megan has lived in Massachusetts, Oklahoma and South Carolina in addition to Virginia. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, spending time outdoors and anything related to Harry Potter. As a proud parent of two dogs, she also is always interested in hearing about her patients’ fur babies.
