Athletic Trainer
Nicki, a certified athletic trainer, earned a Bachelor of Science in kinesiology and health from Iowa State University and a Master of Science in management from Minot State University in North Dakota.
Before joining Riverside Health System, Nicki gained experience, skills and insights not only in sports medicine and physical rehabilitation but in management and customer service.
Nicki is an effective communicator and a hard-working team player who is dedicated to helping athletes stay healthy and recover from injuries as quickly as possible. She specializes in orthopedics and sports medicine.
A Southern Iowa native, Nicki was an on-call athletic trainer for high schools and youth sports programs in Iowa and North Dakota before moving to Virginia. Her eclectic background also includes positions with Lowe’s, Verizon Wireless and Hy-Vee, a large chain of supermarkets in the Midwest and South.
Nicki is married and has a beagle. She is an avid quilter, crafter and reader and embraces the rich history and diversity of Hampton Roads.
