The ALS Clinic at Riverside provides comprehensive, multi-disciplinary care for individuals living with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). There are many neurologic conditions where the cause may be due to inherited genetics, such as types of ataxia and some inherited forms of cognitive dementias. And there are other neurologic conditions which are always due to genetics, such as Huntington’s Disease.

At Riverside Neurology Specialists we work with each patient to establish a diagnosis and care plan, refer to genetic counseling as appropriate and connect patients and families to disease-specific support services as needed.

While most people experience headaches at some point in their lives, frequent or severe headaches or migraines are not common and should be discussed with your primary care provider. For patients who need additional evaluation and support, your primary care provider may refer you to our team to rule out other causes, identify triggers and determine the type of headache you are experiencing in order to develop an effective treatment plan.
