Riverside Dementia & Memory Care Services

Riverside’s comprehensive dementia and memory care services program is designed to support both patients and families dealing with dementia and related cognitive disorders. From our Memory Clinic to our care navigators and support services, Riverside is here to offer expertise, support, connection and community.

Riverside Memory Care Clinic

The Memory Care Clinic team includes representatives from many disciplines in order to best care for our patients and their caregivers. Suraj Rajan, M.D., MSc., a neurodegenerative neurologist and the medical director or the Memory Care Clinic, leads the team that may include neurologists, nurse practitioner, nurses, social workers, care coordinators and more. The Martha W. Goodson Center and community groups, such as the Alzheimer’s Association, are also in attendance during some clinic sessions.

While all of the providers at Riverside Neurology Specialists care for patients with memory disorders, many memory care patients benefit from this team approach. Our memory care clinic benefits individua’s living with Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementias, as well as conditions like traumatic brain injuries.
