Whether you’re looking to manage weight or prevent and manage disease, our nutrition programs are led by a registered dietitian with the highest level of training. We help you identify the best strategies and foods to help you achieve optimal health and maintain healthy, sustainable habits.

Our registered dietitian will help guide you towards your personal nutrition goals. With the highest level of nutrition training, these experts will personally tailor your nutrition guidance, taking into consideration any food allergies or sensitivities you may have. Together, you will develop a plan that will help you achieve your goals and learn more about healthy eating habits that you can sustain for a lifetime.

What to Expect

  • A comprehensive assessment of your nutrition history, height and weight, and nutrition counseling specific to your goals
  • Follow up sessions to review your nutrition goals, address barriers and provide additional nutrition education tailored to your needs
  • Metabolic testing upon request

Initial session: $60 (free for Total Wellness members)
Follow up sessions: $45 for one session, $100 for two sessions, $175 for four sessions

Taught by our registered dietitian, HealthyU is an eight-week nutrition program that focuses on healthy lifestyle and weight management through the creation of healthy, sustainable habits.

What to Expect

Participants will meet once per week with our registered dietitian to learn how to create healthy habits and a better relationship with food. Participants will learn:

  • Healthy eating patterns
  • How to create healthy meals and snacks
  • Healthy food preparation methods
  • How to fuel your body for exercise
  • How exercise improves health

The eight-week program includes a fitness/pool membership for non-members of RWFC-Peninsula. Upon completion of the program, participants will receive 100 percent off the application fee if they join the Riverside Wellness & Fitness Center.
