Riverside Welcomes Two New OBGYN Specialists on the Eastern Shore

Onancock, Va. – Riverside is pleased to welcome Jeremy Grant, M.D. and Elizabeth Waring, M.D. to the team at Riverside OB/GYN Specialists inside the Riverside Medical Group building on the Riverside campus in Onancock on the Eastern Shore.

Grant earned his medical degree from the Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia and completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency with the Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh. Grant is eligible for board certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Delivering newborns and taking care of women as they journey through different milestones in their lives is an experience that Grant finds incredibly rewarding. A compassionate provider, he wants patients to feel comfortable with him and know that he will do everything he can to help them.

Grant’s specialties include family planning, contraception counseling, treatment for abnormal uterine bleeding, vaginal and cesarean deliveries, hysterectomies and endometrial ablation.

A native of St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Grant is new to the Eastern Shore, where he loves the friendly people and living near the water. He is happily married with two cats, and enjoys hiking, photography and travel.

After earning her medical degree from Tulane University in New Orleans, Waring completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency with Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Health System. She remained with VCU to complete fellowship training in hospice and palliative medicine with a concentration in perinatal palliative care. Waring is currently pursuing board certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Waring enjoys providing meaningful, personalized care to women through all stages of life. Getting to know her patients as individuals is very importance to Waring, whose goal is to work closely with them to provide comprehensive, evidence-based medical care to achieve their goals. Her fellowship training allows her to better address the needs of women and their partners who experience difficulties during high-risk pregnancies, and to support women with gynecologic cancer.

Waring specializes in low-intervention childbirth, long-acting reversible contraception, menstrual management, sexual dysfunction, postpartum depression, colposcopy and loop electrosurgical excision procedures (LEEP), cervical dysplasia management, and perinatal loss support.

While growing up in Ohio, Waring spent summers in rural Indiana with her grandparents. She enjoys the Eastern Shore’s close-knit community, beautiful natural spaces, access to the water and fresh seafood. Her interests include hiking, swimming, kayaking, crafting, art, cooking and sharing meals with friends and family.

Grant and Waring are accepting new patients. To make an appointment, visit riversideonline.com/shoreobgyn or call 757-302-2700, option 4.
