Williamsburg, Va. – Riverside Health System is pleased to welcome Amna H. Feroze, M.D. to its primary care practice in Norge.
Board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Feroze is no stranger to the greater Williamsburg region, having practiced medicine in the area for years.
An experienced primary care physician, Feroze chose her specialty because of a desire to establish strong connections with patients and their families.
“I find it extremely gratifying to take care of patients in close conjunction with the rest of their family — and to care for multiple generations,” Feroze said. “I especially enjoy seeing my pediatric patients grow into young adults.”
Feroze earned her medical degree from King Edward Medical College in Pakistan in 1986 and completed a family medicine residency at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center in 2003.
She aims to work with patients as a team, believing that the best way to reach positive health outcomes is by sharing ideas.
Feroze enjoys caring for patients of all ages, from newborns to older adults, with the same care she would her own family members. Her adult medicine practice includes treatment for complex medical conditions, with a special interest in endocrinological issues such as diabetes management. She also provides women’s health procedures such as Pap test evaluation and Nexplanon contraceptive placement.
Riverside Primary Care Norge is located at 7364 Richmond Road in Williamsburg. The practice is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
