Riverside Medical Group is pleased to announce a major milestone in the opening of the Jamison-Longford Medical Office Building (MOB) on the campus of Riverside Smithfield Hospital (RSH): the facility has officially received its Certificate of Occupancy, signaling the transition into the final phase of preparation ahead of welcoming patients this fall.
With the Certificate of Occupancy secured, teams are now focused on final interior build-out, equipment and furniture installation, and training team members to ensure a smooth opening in September 2025.
“This milestone represents Riverside’s continued commitment to expanding access to care for those who live and work in Isle of Wight,” said Sally Ryan, Chief Operating Officer at Riverside Medical Group. “By bringing additional specialty services to the community through the Jamison-Longford Medical Office Building, we’re making it easier for residents to get high-quality, coordinated care close to home—where it’s most needed.”

Additional services—including Riverside Surgical Specialists and Riverside Neurology Specialists—will open in 2026, further expanding Riverside’s commitment to coordinated, specialty-driven care in one accessible location.
