Nassawadox, Va. — Riverside Eastern Shore Family Medicine has welcomed Linwood T. Joyner II, M.D., to its team of providers.
Located at 10085 William F. Bernart Circle in Nassawadox, Riverside Eastern Shore Family Medicine provides comprehensive medical care for adults and older children.
Board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Joyner earned his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2017. He completed his residency at Portsmouth Family Medicine.
Joyner embraces a patient-centered approach to care that relies on mutual collaboration. He enjoys working with multiple family members across generational lines. As a family medical physician, he offers a full spectrum of care, with special interests that include adolescent medicine, knee and shoulder injections, trigger point injections and skin tag removal.
While Joyner grew up in Portsmouth, his roots are in Northampton County on the Eastern Shore. He appreciates the genuine hospitality and humility exhibited by the residents there. He likes to sing and dance in his spare time.
