Being Stroke Smart Makes Our Community Strong
Every minute counts when someone is having a stroke. In fact, 1.9 million brain cells die each minute a stroke goes untreated. The good news is that stroke can be treated, but only if it is recognized and responded to quickly.
That’s why it’s essential for everyone in our community to learn how to recognize the signs and symptoms of stroke and understand the importance of calling 911 immediately.
