Riverside Health is proud to announce the opening of the Riverside Health Care Center Warwick, a newly renovated, state-of-the-art facility located at 11008 Warwick Boulevard in Newport News. Developed to serve as a long-term hub for integrated, patient-centered care, the center will begin welcoming its first patients on June 26, 2025 — with Internal Medicine and Physical Therapy leading the way.
“This new facility represents our vision for the future of community-based health care,” said Sally Ryan, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer with Riverside Medical Group. “We’re combining top-tier clinical expertise with innovative design and expanded access — all under one roof — to better serve patients across the community.”
The launch of Riverside Health Care Center Warwick will begin with the opening of Riverside Internal Medicine Warwick on June 26, 2025, offering primary care services. Shortly after, the facility will begin the relocation and unification of Riverside Physical Therapy Brentwood and Riverside Physical Therapy Shoreview into one advanced facility: Riverside Physical Therapy Warwick. The new practice will officially open to patients on Monday, June 30, 2025.
Riverside Physical Therapy Warwick will offer expanded services including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology. The center’s investment in technology will elevate its neurorehabilitation services, enhancing our care for patients recovering from strokes, brain injuries, Parkinson’s disease, and other neurological conditions.
“We’ve built this space with both patients and providers in mind,” said Will Parker, Senior Director of Outpatient Therapy Services. “The combination of advanced equipment, larger treatment areas, and collaborative care teams allows us to deliver more efficient and effective therapy.”
Riverside Health Care Center Warwick has been thoughtfully designed for future growth. Over the next 18 months, the center will continue expanding to include:
- Riverside OB/GYN Specialists Warwick – opening June 2026
- Riverside Family Medicine & Pediatrics Warwick – opening December 2026
All practices currently operate at Riverside Brentwood Medical Center and will relocate to the new Warwick campus as part of Riverside’s plan to streamline services and enhance the patient experience.
With modern infrastructure, flexible clinical space, and a multidisciplinary approach, Riverside Health Care Center Warwick is poised to become a cornerstone of local health care for decades to come.
