Riverside Health has named Jack Field, MHA, President of Riverside Mental Health & Recovery Center (RMHRC). Field will assume the duties of president on April 6, succeeding Stacey Johnson, who was recently named president of Riverside Doctors’ Hospital Williamsburg

Field currently serves as Senior Director of Hospital Operations at Riverside Regional Medical Center, where he oversees a wide range of hospital services including laboratory, environmental services, inpatient transport, spiritual care, volunteer services, food and nutrition, and campus operations. In this role, he has led improvements in patient experience, operational efficiency and financial performance while supporting regulatory readiness and team member engagement.

Field brings extensive experience in behavioral health operations and a strong understanding of Riverside’s mission and culture. He previously served as Director of Operations at RMHRC, where he partnered closely with hospital leadership to strengthen operations, support provider growth and advance strategic planning initiatives for the organization.

“Jack is a proven leader with a deep understanding of Riverside and a strong commitment to operational excellence and patient-centered care,” said Dr. Mike Oshiki, President of Riverside Regional Medical Center and Riverside Health’s Acute Care Division. “His experience across both RMHRC and Riverside Regional Medical Center positions him well to continue advancing the important work being done to serve patients and families across our community.”

Field holds a Master of Health Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Virginia Commonwealth University Honors College.

“I’m honored to step into this role and to continue serving alongside the dedicated team at Riverside Mental Health & Recovery Center,” said Field. “Mental health and recovery treatment plays such a vital role in the well-being of our communities and I look forward to building on the strong foundation already in place as we continue expanding access to compassionate, high-quality care.”
