Riverside Health System is pleased to announce that Riverside Regional Medical Center (RRMC) has earned Healthgrades’ 2022 Spine Surgery Excellence Award™ for providing superior clinical outcomes in spinal fusion, back and neck surgeries. Over 4,500 hospitals were assessed, and RRMC was one of just 100 hospitals nationwide, and one of two hospitals in Virginia, to receive this award.

For this award, Healthgrades analyzed hospitals’ performance based on patient outcomes from 2018 to 2020. To measure performance, Healthgrades evaluated Medicare inpatient data for back and neck surgeries and spinal fusions.
