Riverside is committed to building trust and working alongside community partners to support better health outcomes in underserved areas. We recognize that a person’s ability to reach their full health potential can be affected by many circumstances, such as limited transportation, financial or educational barriers, lack of access to food or affordable housing, or being located far from healthcare services.
Creating healthier communities requires collaboration between businesses, community organizations, local municipalities, government agencies, healthcare systems, and higher education institutions. Together, we can work to reduce barriers that contribute to gaps in health access. If your organization would like Riverside to partner with you to offer health screenings, please complete our support form.
Partnering Together to Build a Stronger Community
Riverside established the Virginia Organization for Inclusive Concepts and Equitable Solutions (VOICES), a regional group of professionals from healthcare, business, education, and non profit organizations who come together to share practices and strengthen community partnerships. VOICES is now hosted by our partners at the Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities (VCIC).
Health Equity Panel
Riverside also established an annual Health Equity Panel to help address health challenges affecting communities in need. Learn more.
