Educational Seminar 2

Williamsburg, Va. – Paul McLendon, M.D., an Orthopedicspedic surgeon with Riverside Health System, will present “Prevention and Treatment of Rotator Cuff Injuries” at a free community lecture from 6 to 6:45 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, 2018.

The event, presented in partnership with 757 Swim, will take place at the Williamsburg Indoor Sports Complex located at 5700 Warhill Trail in Williamsburg.

Walk-ins are welcome and no formal RSVP is required.

McLendon’s own shoulder injury in college led to years of disability, but a successful surgery resulted in his recovery and inspired him to become a shoulder and elbow specialist. A strong desire to help others overcome similar problems continues to fuel him today.

He earned his medical degree from the Florida State University College of Medicine. He completed five years of residency training in Orthopedicspedic surgery at Mayo Clinic, as well as a shoulder and elbow fellowship at Florida Orthopedicspaedic Institute.

McLendon practices at the Riverside Orthopedicspedic, Sports Medicine & Physiatry Specialists in Newport News and Williamsburg.
