The Orchard to Host Free Lecture on Living with Parkinsons Disease

Warsaw, Va.? - The Orchard, a Riverside assisted living community in Warsaw, Virginia is pleased to have Jonathan Butler, M.D., Ph.D., present Living with Parkinson's Disease. Parkinson's disease is a movement disorder that is prevalent among people over the age of 60. It is one of the most common age-related degenerating diseases in the elderly, similar to Alzheimer's disease.
Dr. Butler, M.D. is a board-certified neurologist with Riverside Medical Group. With expertise in movement disorders, Parkinson's disease and spastic conditions, Dr. Butler specializes in deep brain stimulation selection and management as well as advanced device interventions and botulinum toxin injections.
This lecture will help you identify conditions and symptoms related to Parkinson's, as well as the treatment options you can explore to slow down the progression of this disease and maintain independence.
