Riverside Wellness and Fitness Centers to Close Temporarily Amid Novel Coronavirus COVID-19 Outbreak

To further protect patients, team members and the community amid the spread of novel coronavirus COVID-19, Riverside Health System Wellness and Fitness Centers in Newport News and Gloucester will close for the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic. This measure is consistent with guidance from government officials and leading health organizations to limit group interactions and face-to-face contact.

Riverside continues to closely monitor the COVID-19 situation and will be in communication with members via email about facility reopenings.

During this temporary closure, staff will complete a deep cleaning of both facilities to ensure a safe, clean environment for personal fitness and wellness routines when the centers reopen.

For questions about Riverside Wellness and Fitness Centers, please contact Sara Marston, Wellness Engagement Manager, at [email protected] or 757-875-7525.
