Riverside’s interventional cardiology program allows for the minimally invasive diagnostic and treatment procedures that are performed through minimally invasive, catheter-based interventions.

Commonly referred to as a “cardiac cath” these procedures can identify and assist in opening blockages as well as implant cardiac stents that will help prevent the blockage re-occurring. These procedures may be performed as a diagnostic test, as a scheduled procedure or as an emergency treatment for some types of heart attacks.
