The first step in helping our young patients at Riverside Mental Health & Recovery Center is to stabilize you or your loved one in the event of a short-term crisis – and then begin to plan how we can help each individual grow, develop and change for success in life. Multi-disciplinary and Specialized Expertise for Improved Wellness
In a safe therapeutic environment, Riverside’s expert team provides specialized acute care for adolescents ages 12 through 17 for psychiatric difficulties requiring emergency intervention. Our team of mental health professionals offer a variety of therapeutic interventions for adolescents with a recent history of being a threat to themselves, others or property – or have impaired functioning due to mental health or substance abuse problems.
Our multi-disciplinary team has the specialized expertise to help adolescents experiencing psychiatric, behavioral or emotional challenges – and find the right path for each toward improved wellness. Our adolescent patients experience safe, therapeutic surroundings and staff who are attentive, validating, consistent, calm, predictable, caring and empathetic. When mental health concerns lead to issues at home or school, we provide crisis acute care that specifically targets acute symptoms to stabilize and then understand the obstacles you or your loved one are experiencing. We work together, including coordination with family, to transition to an appropriate level of care.
Riverside’s team provides the opportunity to learn new skills to build successful relationships and interact well with others. In a structured environment that leads to individual discovery and growth, our team provides the services to support each individual’s needs, including:
