Program Aims
- Train Residents physicians broadly and excellently in inpatient and outpatient medicine in the full breadth of Family Medicine so they can enter any post-graduate work venue and be successful.
- Recruit and train medical students to become excellent family physicians who will practice in Virginia. We have an extensive exposure to medical students which adds to the rich milieu of the residency experience for students, residents, and faculty
- Strive to teach continuous quality improvement and promote community outreach so that these endeavors can be continued after graduation.
