Comprehensive Curriculum & Professional Development
The fellowship curriculum integrates multiple educational modalities to support professional growth and clinical excellence.
Fellows participate in:
- Weekly didactic lecture series
- Hands on procedural training in our state of the art SIM lab
- Critical Care Grand Rounds
- Informal “chalk talks” led by Intensivist attendings
- Critical Care Journal Club
- Medical resident educational sessions
- Specialty training to include Difficult Airways Course
Throughout the program, fellows design and implement a quality improvement project under the guidance of fellowship faculty, culminating in a formal presentation prior to graduation.
Simulation-based training, procedural practice, and clinical scenario reviews are scheduled regularly to reinforce clinical competencies. Daily multidisciplinary rounds offer continuous opportunities for learning and skill development.
In addition, every fifth Friday is dedicated to community service and wellness initiatives, promoting holistic professional development and well-being.
