Application Process
Candidates for the APP Fellowship include newly graduated Acute Care Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants/Associates (PAs) who are board-certified or board-eligible. Board certification must be successfully completed before onboarding, and graduates are encouraged to take their certification exams immediately after graduation to allow time for credentialing.
Additional applicants may include experienced Acute Care NPs or PAs who are board-certified and practicing in another specialty but wish to transition into Critical Care.
Application Requirements:
- Graduation (or anticipated graduation) from an accredited Acute Care NP or PA program with a master’s degree
- National board certification (or plan to test and pass before program start)
- Good standing with master’s program
- Current CV or resume
- 500-word Letter of Intent outlining professional goals and fellowship interest
- Three references: one physician, one academic, one preceptor
- Current unofficial transcripts from master’s program
- Participation in a TEAMS screening interview
- Selected candidates will be required to participate in an onsite panel interview
