Dr. Levy is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon in Hampton Roads with formal training in minimally invasive surgery, which produces excellent results and shortened recoveries. He has expertise in total ankle replacement, minimally invasive bunion and lesser toe deformity correction, ligament reconstruction of the foot and ankle, sports medicine, flatfoot and cavus-foot deformity correction and cartilage restoration.

Dr. Levy earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. He completed a foot and ankle surgery fellowship with the Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Center of Washington, D.C. Dr. Levy is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. 

Dr. Levy, a retired Colonel, spent over 30 years in the Army before joining Riverside Medical Group. He is experienced in caring for complex orthopedic injuries and works diligently to foster teamwork with each of his patients. Dr. Levy’s passion for research has led to numerous published articles in national peer-reviewed medical journals. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society and the Society of Military Orthopaedic Surgeons.

While growing up in the Washington, D.C., area, where his father worked as an Army physician, Dr. Levy enjoyed sailing and seafood during summer vacations in Hampton Roads. Since moving to the area he has carried on those childhood pastimes with his wife and three children.
