About Clinical Trials

For decades, Riverside has hosted a variety of research studies conducted by medical residents, teams of seasoned physician investigators and study coordinators, postgraduate nurses, pharmacists and other research professionals. These research and innovation studies include national, international, industry and federally sponsored studies of care delivery, drugs and medical devices.

Riverside's primary responsibility is caring for our patients as we engage in research to foster lifelong learning and evidence-based improvements in patient care. Ultimately, our goal is to improve the future of health care for those who will follow so in this we are fulfilling our mission of "caring for others as we would care for those we love."

Our researchers (Principal Investigators and Study Coordinators) bring over 150 years of experience conducting Phase II, III and IV drug and device trials.

Our efforts also include partnerships with other visionaries in the health care field and beyond. For example, in November of 2018, Riverside Health System and Index AR Solutions announced a partnership to develop an augmented reality application that is expected to vastly simplify the cleaning and reprocessing of reusable endoscopes, thus keeping patients safe and heath care workers more efficient.
