Riverside Regional Medical Center is a 450-bed Not-For-Profit Community Hospital. It is part of Riverside Health, a network of health care facilities headquartered in Newport News, Virginia. Riverside serves as a referral center for much of the surrounding area, with a level III NICU and full time neonatologists providing care for babies from 23 weeks up. We have a 12 LDR bed L&D Suite with 2 operating rooms. We have perinatologists available with offices in the hospital for rapid consultation, and we have extensive support in other specialty areas from trauma surgery and radiology to cardiovascular surgery and urology support. We have full time trauma services available in our emergency department.
Our clinic facilities are off site by approximately 2 miles. This brand-new center houses Riverside's Internal Medicine Residency as well as Physical Therapy. The OB/GYN Residency moved to this location in June of 2026. The Family Medicine Residency will join us at this location in early 2027. There are 22 examination rooms, 2 procedure rooms, 2 ultrasound rooms, 4 resident work rooms. We also have a consultation room and a small conference room in our OB/GYN space. The complex has an additional large, state-of-the-art conference room for meetings and conferences. This facility was designed from the ground up as an OB/GYN office to allow for expansion to serve our community and plenty of procedural space to bring access to our patients.
