James Fiorella is the Sports Performance Specialist for Riverside Health, leading programming for all sports performance. In his role, James works collaboratively with the entire Sports Medicine team as well as the local community to design and execute programming to improve the well-being of every athlete he works with. Prior to Riverside, James worked as the Strength & Conditioning Coordinator at Chowan University and as an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach at Norfolk State University. He specializes in developing programs for both youth and global athletic development. He is credentialed as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA) as well as USA Weightlifting (USAW) and Functional Movement Systems (FMS).

Kinston "Skinny" Carson is a highly credentialed Sports Performance professional dedicated to maximizing athletic potential. A native of Tappahannock, Virginia, Skinny holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences from the College of William and Mary and a Master of Science degree in Athletic Training from the University of Lynchburg. His experience as a left-handed pitcher and outfielder at the collegiate level provides him with a unique understanding of the demands placed on athletes.
Prior to joining our Riverside Health team, Skinny served as the Director of Sports Performance at the WISC (Williamsburg Indoor Sports Complex). His extensive background include working with elite middle school, high school, college, and professional athletes. Skinny holds certifications as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), and Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES). Skinny's expertise is in optimizing athletic potential, while maintaining a strict focus on injury prevention and longevity.
Skinny currently resides in Williamsburg, Virginia with his wife, Julianna, and 10-month old son, Jack.
