Join us for an event hosted by the Alzheimer's Association in partnership with The Riverside Health Martha W. Goodson Center on Thursday, August 29!

Communication is more than just talking and listening — it’s also about sending and receiving messages. Join us to learn more. This is a Hybrid presentation, both in-person and online.

In-Person Understanding Your Newborn Class

This class is the perfect resource to help new parents confidently care for their baby! The class covers the basics of baby care including newborn behaviors, crying and comforting techniques, and diapering and cord care. 

This class is being offered the 1st Thursday of each month from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Registration is required.  Attendance is limited to the expectant mother and 1 additional person, therefore ONLY the expectant mother needs to register. Registration will close once the class has reached capacity.

Virtual Childbirth Preparation Classes

Riverside is proud to offer virtual Childbirth Preparation Classes. Mom-to-be and her partner or support person can explore the many choices available to make their birth experience personal and positive.

This course includes comprehensive information on pregnancy, labor, and birth, as well as relaxation and breathing techniques, all from the safety of your home.

As the date for the new session approaches, you will receive an email with instructions on how to join virtually. This class is a series of four sessions offered on consecutive Monday evenings for two hours from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

The July series dates are 7/6, 7/13, 7/20 and 7/27.
