Join us for the 9th annual Oncology Nursing Conference on Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m at the Hampton Roads Convention Center.
 
We have a fabulous Keynote Speaker, Marcus Engel, MS, CPSP, CSP, Healthcare Speaker, Author & Compassion Consultant. After surviving a tragic accident, Marcus shares how the compassion of his care team shaped his recovery and his purpose. Now an author and advocate, he inspires health care professionals to elevate the patient experience while reminding us all to protect and value those who deliver care every day. In-Person Expectant Parents Tours

Riverside is proud to offer in-person Expectant Parent Tours on scheduled Tuesday evenings and one Saturday morning each month.

During the tour, parents-to-be can preview the birthing suites and postpartum rooms in our Women and Infant Care Unit at Riverside Regional Medical Center. On the tour, you will have the opportunity to have your questions answered regarding having your baby at Riverside.

Attendance is limited to the expectant mother and 1 additional person, therefore ONLY the expectant mother needs to register for this tour. Registration will close once we have reached capacity.

In-Person Understanding Pregnancy Class

This class is recommended for expectant moms in their first trimester and is meant to help new mothers-to-be understand what to expect during pregnancy. You will learn what is happening with your body and with your baby through each trimester.  The importance of making healthy lifestyle choices in pregnancy will be shared.

The class is being offered on the 4th Tuesday of each month from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m..
 
Registration is required.  Attendance is limited to the expectant mother and 1 additional person, therefore ONLY the expectant mother needs to register. Registration will close once the class has reached capacity.

As the class date approaches, you will receive a reminder email with additional information about the class.
 
Your instructor will meet you in the Tower Lobby of Riverside Regional Medical Center to take you to the classroom.
