Riverside's 15th Annual Stroke Symposium

Thank you for your interest in Riverside's 15th Annual Stroke Symposium which will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024 at the Newport News Marriott at City Center. Breakfast will begin at 6:30 a.m.
Please join us for a day focused on the latest advances in caring for stroke patients.

Registration fees are as follows:

• Physicians | Pharmacists- $150
• Nurse Practitioner | Physician Assistant- $120
• Nurse | EMS | Other Allied Health - $90
• Full-Time Student (Medical | Nursing | Allied Health | Resident) - $50 (Letter of Faculty Approval Required)
• Exhibitors - $1,000

Exhibitors will register on this site through Riverside by clicking the yellow REGISTER NOW button. Exhibitor registration includes a table to showcase product/institution. Deadline for exhibitors to register is April 29, 2024.

Riverside's Parkinson's Symposium

Join us for our Parkinson’s Disease Symposium where you can hear presentations from Riverside’s Movement Disorder specialists, community organizations and get information on living well with Parkinson's.

This symposium is free and open to the public. Connect with other patients, meet our providers and learn about the many services and organizations focused on Parkinson’s Disease in our community.

Virtual Childbirth Preparation Classes

Riverside is proud to offer virtual Childbirth Preparation Classes. Mom-to-be and her partner or support person can explore the many choices available to make their birth experience personal and positive.

This course includes comprehensive information on pregnancy, labor, and birth, as well as relaxation and breathing techniques, all from the safety of your home.

As the date for the new session approaches, you will receive an email with instructions on how to join virtually. This program is a series of four classes offered on consecutive Monday evenings for two hours from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

The May series dates are 5/6, 5/13, 5/20 and Thursday 5/23.
