In-Person Postpartum Health & Baby Care: Your Guide to the 4th Trimester

This is the class you didn't know you needed!

The Fourth Trimester, also known as the postpartum period, is a time of intense change in your baby, your body and your lifestyle.  Learn more about the adjustments you and your little one will experience in the weeks after delivery.

In this class, your instructor will share examples of how to care for yourself and your baby, along with reassurance that the changes and ups and downs experienced in the 4th trimester are normal and to be expected.

Registration is required. Please register by clicking the yellow REGISTER NOW button to the right and provide the requested information, including your email address.

Attendance is limited to the expectant mother and 1 additional person, therefore ONLY the expectant mother needs to register for this class. Registration will close once we have reached capacity. As the class date approaches, you will receive an email from the instructor with additional information about the class. 
 
Your instructor will meet you in the Tower Lobby to take you to the classroom.
 
This In-person Class Guide to the 4th Trimester Class will be offered on the 1st Friday evening of every month from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.

Having a low iron level is a common medical issue that can have various implications, some of which are straightforward while others are more complex. In this informative session, Dr. Narayanan Sadagopan M.D., a hematology and oncology specialist, will discuss what every adult should know about iron deficiency. Dr. Sadagopan will discuss the symptoms of iron deficiency, the causes, treatment, who is at higher risk, and when to see a specialist. He will also clarify how it relates to cancer screening. Attendees will gain an understanding of the multidisciplinary team involved in the management of this condition.

In-Person Expectant Parents Tours

Riverside is proud to offer in-person Expectant Parent Tours on scheduled evenings and one Saturday morning each month.

During the tour, parents-to-be can preview the birthing suites and postpartum rooms in our Women and Infant Care Unit at Riverside Regional Medical Center. On the tour, you will have the opportunity to have your questions answered regarding having your baby at Riverside.

Attendance is limited to the expectant mother and 1 additional person, therefore ONLY the expectant mother needs to register for this tour. Registration will close once we have reached capacity.
