We will talk about the risk factors of cardiovascular disease and the steps you can take to reduce your personal risk of stroke and heart attack.
  • Health factors including blood pressure, cholesterol levels, blood sugar, smoking
  • How genetics and family health history affect your risk
  • Recognizing symptoms to better advocate for yourself and your loved ones
  • Promoting community education and engagement
  • Cooking demonstration

During the tour, you will have the opportunity to have your questions answered regarding having your baby at Riverside. Parents-to-be can preview the birthing suites, postpartum rooms, and NICU at Riverside Regional Medical Center from the safety of their home.

Virtual, Postpartum Health & Baby Care: Your Guide to the 4th Trimester

This is the class you didn't know you needed!

The Fourth Trimester, also known as the postpartum period, is a time of intense change in your baby, your body and your lifestyle.  Learn more about the adjustments you and your little one will experience in the weeks after delivery.

In this virtual class, your instructor will share examples of how to care for yourself and your baby, along with reassurance that the changes and ups and downs experienced in the 4th trimester are normal and to be expected.
