Virtual Breastfeeding Class

Breastfeeding is natural, but there are skills to be learned that can help promote successful breastfeeding. In this two-hour class, our lactation consultant will share the knowledge and skills expectant parents need to get off to a great start.
 
Registration is required. Please register by clicking the yellow REGISTER NOW button to the right and provide the requested information, including your email address. As the class date approaches, you will receive an email with instructions on how to join virtually.
 
The class is offered twice each month on a Wednesday evening from 7:00 - 9:00 PM and a Saturday morning from 9:00 - 11:00 AM. When registering, please provide an email address. Instructions for virtually joining the class will be sent to you by the instructor a few days before the scheduled date.

Family Infant CPR Class

It's unlikely the need for performing CPR would arise, but if it did you would want to know exactly what to do. This class will share how to recognize the need for CPR and basic CPR will be presented. No certification will be provided.

Classes will be held on one Saturday each month from 1:00 – 2:30 pm. Your instructor will meet you in the Tower Entrance Lobby and escort you to the classroom.

Classes are held at Riverside Regional Medical Center, Newport News, VA in the WICU Classroom on the 2nd floor of the Tower Entrance.

Registration is required. To register, click on the yellow REGISTER NOW button to the right and complete the form. Be sure to include your email address so that information can be shared with you relating to the class.

Attendance is limited to the expectant mother and 1 additional adult, therefore ONLY the expectant mother needs to register for this course. Registration will close once we have reached capacity.
