About Vickie Lynn Armstrong, AGPCNP

Vickie earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She also holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Old Dominion University. Vickie is board-certified as a Gerontological Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

With highly specialized training and 15 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner serving aging adults, Vickie is especially cognizant of the functional challenges faced by her patients. She believes a holistic view, creative thinking and a focus on individual goals are required to maximize function and impact overall wellbeing.

Passionate about the care of adults with chronic conditions, Vickie specializes in memory evaluation. While some neurological conditions may not be curable or reversible, she is focused on improving the quality of life for her patients and their families. Vickie's expertise is balanced by her down-to-earth attitude; she sees herself as "just a regular person" who sincerely enjoys listening to her patients.

Outside of work, Vickie is a mother, grandmother and volunteers with a rescue organization. Her hobbies include reading, sewing and camping.
