About Olugbemisola Oredein McCoy, MD

After earning her medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine, Dr. McCoy completed a general surgery internship and urology residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. She also holds a Doctor of Philosophy in biomedical engineering from the University of Virginia. Dr. McCoy is board certified by the American Board of Urology.

Dr. McCoy enjoys practicing personalized medicine. When creating a care plan, she takes into account the whole patient, including his or her family dynamics, home environment and personal goals. Dr. McCoy specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of male and female voiding dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse, stone disease and erectile dysfunction.

Dr. McCoy grew up in Chesapeake, which explains why Hampton Roads is near and dear to her heart. She has a special appreciation for the area’s natural beauty, people and festivals. Outside of work, she enjoys family time, hiking, eating and watching old films. Dr. McCoy is married with two children.
