“I believe knowledge is power, and it helps patients make the best decisions about their own treatment. This is why I explain every step of the diagnostic process. I want my patients to understand their condition fully, and the various treatment options that can improve or repair their problem. When we consider treatment options, I present a realistic outlook on the results that we can achieve together. I will also be frank about the risks that may be involved. If a non-surgical option is available I will explain that avenue in depth to the patient so they can make an informed decision about their care.”

Dr. Perez moved to the Middle Peninsula and joined Riverside Health Systems in 2009. He lives in Gloucester with his wife, two children. Dr. Perez and his family enjoy the small community setting that the Middle Peninsula offers as well as the outdoor activities including fishing, hunting and playing in the river.
