Medical Students

Students must be candidates for the MD or DO degree in an accredited school. After your rotation dates are confirmed, additional information will be emailed to you regarding student orientation and onboarding. 

Please submit the following items through VSLO:

  • Completed application (must include date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN)
  • Board scores
  • Certificate of Insurance (COI) from School
  • Current CV
  • Letter of Good Standing Including Attestation of Background Check, Health Insurance, Complete Immunization Record and Influenza (Flu) Vaccination for the Current Season
  • Profile photo (JPEG format)
  • School-Signed Attestation of Influenza (Flu) Vaccination for the Current Season

Additional documents may be required depending on your institution or rotation request.

APP Students

APP students (CNM, NP, PA) must be candidates in good academic standing in an accredited school and from an institution with which Riverside has an Affiliation Agreement.   

Initial Applications

Visiting Residents

Visiting Residents must hold an MD or DO degree and be in good standing from their current ACGME-accredited residency program.

  • Additionally, Visiting Residents must also provide:
  • Valid Virginia License
  • Valid NPI
  • Completed Provider Directory Profile

Additional documents may be required depending on your institution or rotation request.

Fellows

To qualify as a visiting fellow, applicants must:

  • Be currently enrolled in a GME program at an accredited institution
  • Hold a valid medical license
  • Be in good academic and professional standing
  • Have institutional support from their home program
