Jenny and Matt first met in Pennsylvania and built a life together in Williamsburg, VA after Matt attended William & Mary. After 13 years, the couple was ready to tie the knot.
When Jenny received a terminal diagnosis and having a wedding started to seem out of reach, she shared her wish to marry Matt with her Riverside team. What happened next is a true testament to the power of love- and the Riverside care difference.
The Williamsburg Riverside Hospice team rallied to bring their wedding home. The Foundation provided flowers, and a wedding cake and the hospice chaplain officiated so that Jenny and Matt could exchange vows surrounded by love- and their two beloved dogs.
