Hospice care is about helping patients live each day with comfort, dignity and peace while surrounding their loved ones with support and compassion.
Our interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, home health aides, counselors, chaplains and volunteers is available around the clock to meet physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Across more than 5,000 square miles, Riverside Hospice serves hundreds of patients and families each day. In 2025, our average daily census grew to 357 patients and yearly admissions reached 1,828, reflecting the growing need for compassionate end-of-life care throughout the communities we serve.
Yet the true impact of hospice cannot be measured by numbers alone. It is found in quiet moments of reassurance, the comfort of being heard and care delivered with dignity, compassion and deep respect.

From the moment she entered our home, Nurse Davidsha brought more than clinical skill—she brought presence. Her visits were never hurried. She listened, responded thoughtfully and treated Glenys with the dignity and gentleness every person deserves.
He later reflected on the care his wife received: Her care is a gift we cherish deeply.
Nurse Davidsha Bradley accepts a DAISY Award, a national recognition program that honors nurses whose compassion and commitment leave a lasting impact on those they serve.
