Women's Heart

Many women think heart disease is just a problem for older men or that with a heart attack, you will experience crippling chest pain – but that simply isn’t true. Research has shown that heart disease often presents differently in women than in men. In fact, signs and symptoms of heart disease in women can be very different, including:

  • Chest pain, or a feeling of intense pressure on the chest
  • Shortness of breath
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Indigestion
  • Fatigue
  • Feeling extremely hot and sweaty
