Meet our Experts
Our physicians are double board-certified in medical oncology and hematology. This means that they are fellowship trained in both medical oncology to treat cancer and hematology to treat blood conditions.
We work closely with other members of your cancer care team, whether that is within our health system or with local community providers outside our network, so you care is seamlessly connected and coordinated.
Individualized care plans with the latest cancer treatments
Treatment plans will be determined based on information obtained from advanced diagnostic tests, including genomic and molecular profiling along with understanding your type of cancer, the stage and characteristics of your tumor, your overall health and other medical conditions.
Our medical oncologists work collaboratively on your behalf, participating in multidisciplinary tumor boards. During multidisciplinary tumor boards our medical oncologists join radiation oncologists, surgical oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, genetic counselors to work together to review your case and share expertise on the best treatment options.
Your medical oncologist will use this information to identify what treatment is most effective for your cancer. Patients with the same cancer may have completely different treatments based on what’s most likely to be effective for a specific tumor.

Precision medicine is the ability to understand the genetic makeup of your specific tumor and target treatment to identify the most precise and effective treatment with fewer side effects. Patients today have more treatment options available than ever, even for advanced stages of cancer.
Precision medicine may called by other names such as personalized medicine, precision oncology, targeted therapy or genomic medicine.
With precision medicine, we can identify the molecular fingerprints of cancer cells. Instead of a “one-size-fits-all” approach, your medical oncologist can tailor treatment to reflect your specific cancer mutation together with your genetic makeup, environmental influences and even lifestyle factors.
The identification of these molecular targets through this comprehensive tumor genomic profiling has led to a significant improvement in response rates and overall outcomes.
