Our cardiac rehabilitation program is a physician-directed program that includes an individualized treatment plan of risk-factor education and medically monitored exercise sessions.  Those who may benefit from this program are people who have had one or more of the following medical conditions:

  • Heart attack
  • Open-heart surgery (bypass, valve replacement or repair) 
  • Heart transplant
  • Balloon angioplasty
  • Cardiac stent
  • Stable angina

Our pulmonary rehabilitation is a physician-directed program that helps people with pulmonary disease learn to manage symptoms and improve or maintain their activities of daily living. This medically-monitored program includes an individual treatment plan of pulmonary-specific education and a tailored exercise program to aid in meeting the participant's goals.  Those who can benefit from this program include people who suffer from:

  • Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
  • Asthma
  • Chronic bronchitis
  • Emphysema
  • Other pulmonary diseases

Our medical maintenance program allows individuals to retain their fitness level by participating in a medically supervised exercise program two days a week.  The professional staff monitors blood pressure, oxygen levels and heart rate before, during and after exercise.  You must receive permission from your physician in order to participate.

  • Aerobic capacity (treadmill) test
  • Body composition test
  • Flexibility test
  • Muscular strength and endurance test
  • Exercise prescription
