Monica Logwood, PT, DPT

Monica joined the Riverside team at the beginning of 2023. She was born and raised in the Hampton Roads area and attended Old Dominion University where she received her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science in 2015. Her interest in PT really grew while working as a tech during college and for several years after, before attending the University of Lynchburg where she graduated with her D.P.T in 2021. Since then, Monica has gained a great deal of experience with dry needling, manual techniques, lumbopelvic evaluation and treatment, individualized programming for athletes, and more. She is Dry Needling Certified and also has her Level 1 Certification through the Titleist Performance Institute for enhanced golf performance. Monica enjoys working with orthopedic and neurological patients, anywhere from athletes to geriatrics. She plans to work towards becoming a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist and wants to focus on manual therapy continuing education. In her free time, Monica loves spending time with family, friends, and her two German shepherds, playing co-ed softball, and seeing live music.
