Wai Wai Lin, MD

Wai Wai Lin, M.D., is a board-certified, fellowship-trained endocrinologist. She specializes in diabetes, osteoporosis, weight management and endocrine disorders associated with the thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal and pituitary glands.   

Dr. Lin earned her medical degree and completed a family medicine internship at the University of Medicine 1 in Yangon, Myanmar. She then completed internal medicine residency training at Ascension Saint Joseph in Chicago. Later, at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, she finished a fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism.   

To ensure patients play an active role in managing their own health, Dr. Lin involves them in their care and treatment decisions. She values building long-term relationships with her patients.  

In her spare time, Dr. Lin enjoys traveling, cooking and crocheting. She’s married with a daughter and likes Virginia’s family-friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
