About Sandra Jeanne Corsi, AGPCNP
Sandra earned a nursing diploma from Arnot Ogden Medical Center in 2005, followed by a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Keuka College in 2010 and a Master of Science in nursing from the University of Cincinnati in 2013. She is board certified as an adult geriatric primary care nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Throughout her nursing career, Sandra has always been an advocate for wound care, especially for elderly and diabetic patients. She was further inspired to focus in this specialty by the excellent care her own father received from wound-care nurses. Sandra particularly enjoys the educational aspect of wound care and loves to teach patients how to achieve their best health.
Sandra believes that being a medical provider means treating the whole person. Respecting each patient’s individuality and concerns, she strives to involve patients in decision-making and foster independence while providing tools and expertise to guide the path.
Originally from upstate New York, Sandra loves the water, southern charm and friendly people found here in Hampton Roads. She is an animal lover who enjoys being outdoors, reading and drawing. Sandra and her husband have a son and a daughter.
