About Rhonda Tucker Sproles, LCSW

Rhonda earned a Bachelor of Science in social work from the State University of New York College at Buffalo, and a Master of Social Work from Norfolk State University. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker by the Virginia Board of Social Work and certified by the Department of Health Professions.

Rhonda volunteered at a teen crisis hotline while in high school, which instilled in her a strong desire to help others with the challenges of daily living. This experience lead her to the field of social work. She has spent more than 30 years walking alongside people in the journey of life with the goal of imparting hope to help them get the most out of life as possible.

Rhonda specializes in counseling for depression, anxiety, anger, sleep problems, life stage adjustment, postpartum depression, grief and loss. She is passionate about self-discovery, exploration and healing in a world full of overwhelming, confusing challenges and relationships. Rhonda knows how powerful it can be to have someone supporting and encouraging you to be your best and most authentic self, and she is honored to be that person.

Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Rhonda moved to Virginia to attend graduate school and escape the snow. She loves the water and the seasons of Hampton Roads. Rhonda is married with two adult children and enjoys traveling, reading and beading in her spare time.
