About Leslie Marie Williams, FNP

Leslie Williams, FNP-BC, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner specializing in gastroenterology. She has interests in a variety of gastrointestinal conditions, including acid reflux, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and motility disorders.

Leslie earned her nursing degree at Old Dominion University and a Master of Science in nursing from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is board certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and she is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology.

Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Leslie was a pre-op nurse who crossed trained in an endoscopy procedure room and discovered her passion for helping patients with gastrointestinal disorders. She recognizes the importance preventing and treating gastrointestinal problems with the latest scientific research and educates patients about disease processes with compassion. She listens to her patients, partnering with them during every step of their journey and offers a comfortable space to share and assess their health care needs.

Leslie enjoys sitting on her back deck by the lake, painting and taking in the beautiful scenery and wildlife. She also loves cooking out, going to the beach and listening to live music. Leslie always looks forward to annual traditions, like making baklava with her mom during the holiday season and appreciates spending time with her family and friends.
