About Lauren Elizabeth Bastian, FNP

Lauren E. Bastian, FNP, is a family nurse practitioner supporting patients before and after general surgery. She enjoys helping patients navigate each step of treatment while supporting their physical, emotional and social needs. Drawing from both her clinical expertise and her own perspective as a former oncology patient, Lauren understands the importance of listening carefully, building trust and helping patients feel confident in their care. She is especially passionate about recognizing care gaps and expanding access to wound care services within the community. 

Lauren earned an Associate Degree in Professional Nursing from Riverside College of Health Sciences in Newport News. She went on to complete a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at The University of Texas at Arlington, where she also earned a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Lauren built extensive experience as a registered nurse and clinical coordinator in emergency care, outpatient infusion, interventional radiology and vascular access.  

A Williamsburg native, Lauren appreciates the close-knit feel and beautiful scenery of the community she serves. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, painting, gardening, reading, baking sourdough and relaxing at the spa.
