About Jennifer Renee Shields, PA-C
Jennifer R. Shields, PA-C, is an OB-GYN physician assistant specializing in women’s health, family planning, hormone replacement therapy, uterine bleeding and polycystic ovarian syndrome. Jennifer enjoys building relationships with patients and being a part of their major life milestones.
Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Science from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, and a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
As a physician assistant, Jennifer’s philosophy is to provide excellent care with kindness and empathy. From her work and personal experiences, she understands the importance of considering her patients' perspectives for their health and wellness.
Jennifer enjoys staying active, running, going for long walks, seashell hunting and spending time with her family and friends. She loves living and working in the Tidewater area due to its proximity to water and mountains.
