About Jennifer A Keith, FNP

After receiving her Associate of Applied Science degree from the Medical Careers Institute in 2010, Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Old Dominion University in 2015. She went on to earn a Master of Science in Nursing from Hampton University in 2019. Jennifer is board-certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board.

During her nine years of experience in acute care nursing, Jennifer developed in an interest in helping patients manage their health at a primary level in order to prevent acute illnesses. Now, as a family medicine provider, she is able to fulfill her passion for providing holistic health care through long-term relationships with her patients.

Jennifer works with patients and their families to create treatment plans that align with their personal beliefs and goals, believing that effective communication is the key to maintaining healthy lifestyles. Because she feels that mental health is an important component of generalized wellness, she has a particular interest in psychiatric care. Jennifer is committed to supporting all aspects of her patients’ health.

Born and raised in Newport News, Jennifer chose to return to Hampton Roads to raise her two sons near her family. She now resides in Yorktown and enjoys the versatility provided by nearby beaches, mountains and historic sites. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys running, watching her boys play soccer and spending time with family and friends.
